Texas a&M x 47 Discovery House

SAMO worked with 47 to enhance the immersive visual experience of the Discovery House presented by Texas A&M at SXSW. SAMO created custom animations for each headlining performance to create a distinct visual pallet for each artist to thrive in. He operated visuals for the 2 day event by live mixing loops, applying effects, and audio reactivity to the performances all in real time. The stage was composed of a six channel TV matrix, LED stage lighting, and haze to create a dreamy landscape for the artists to perform in. SAMO created a 3D model of the TV matrix in order to create illusions that could support the artists and discovery lens.

Additionally SAMO created two video projection installations resonating with space and sea that were designed in relationship to the guest experience and directed lighting with Dave Bates throughout the other spaces of Clive Bar.

The event media partner was High Snobiety.
