"InWorlds" Virtual Reality performance

SAMO worked with Secret Portal and Ethan Vogt to bring "InWorlds" virtual reality performance to life on stage at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. The audience and volunteers went on a 15-minute journey through fantastical worlds in a first-of-its-kind interaction between a live actor and virtual reality participant.  Avital Manor-Peleg brought her brilliant masked performance to the stage alongside the volunteer, exploring new forms of social interaction by combining improvisational theater and VR.

SAMO worked with the team at Secret Portal to projection map their VR world of the user and make it accessible and engaging to the seated audience in the theater. The result created a live immersive audio visual world that the VR user could interact with in realtime while the audience could observe as well.
