john harvard projection
"A public art installation by artist Krzysztof Wodiczko. Interviews with Harvard students were edited, compiled and projection mapped onto the sculpture of John Harvard in Harvard Yard, superimposing contemporary reflections by students and connecting the historical statue with the present." - Harvard
SAMO worked with Materials & Methods and artist Krzysztof Wodiczko to bring the John Harvard sculpture alive through projection mapping current students bodies and voices onto the famous sculpture. The public installation was active for one week (April 20-27, 2015) on Harvard's campus allowing the students who participated in the project to be heard by thousands of their public and peer communities.
