She Fell into a Well of Sorrows
The composition "She Fell Into a Well of Sorrows" was created by Marti Epstein and recorded by Kathleen Supove in 2011. This was a visual collaboration between Marti Epstein and Samo for when the sound piece was reintroduced in 2014 for a show hosted by Amber Vistein titled "Theater of Eye/Ear: A Collaborative Concert". This piece was screened at the concert via single channel video projection and 10.1 channel audio system in the Pozen Center of Massachusetts School of Art and Design.
As Samo began his creative process he knew that he did not want to over power or take away anything from the original sound piece. He guided himself with a very poetic intention, responding to the sounds with abstract motion, color, and geometry.
